The Mayfair offers a unique, stylish collection of venues to suit every occasion. Behind the original 1930’s façade is an award winning modern architect designed building with two auditoriums for small and large conferences. Upstairs is an event & exhibition space and balcony with uninterrupted views of the beautiful Kaikōura mountains and the sea. Perfect for special occasions and corporate functions.


Corporate & Social Events

The Mayfair has a versatile event and exhibition space perfect for intimate corporate and social events.

The J +S Wyatt Exhibition Suite is a flexible and elegant space that can accommodate a variety of events, from seminars and workshops to drinks receptions, weddings and funerals. Guests also have access to the balcony, the perfect place to relax when the sun is shining and enjoy the uninterrupted views of the Kaikoura Mountains and the sea. Capacity 50. Additional capacity available if combined with hire of foyer.

Auditoriums

The Mayfair has two accessible auditoriums fitted with a full suite of audio-visual equipment suitable for conferences and live events. Auditorium 1 seats 95 + 2 wheel chair spaces and is equiped with a suite of theatre lighting. Auditorium 2 is a smaller, more intimate space seating 34 + 1 wheel chair space. If additional breakout space is required the foyer and the J+S Wyatt Exhibition Suite can also be hired for exclusive use.

Exclusive Movie Screening

Why not enjoy a premium cinema experience by hiring one of our cinemas for a private movie screening.
